Penwith 100 – 60 Mile Coastal Trail Run Challenge – Cornwall

Annie and I have been doing a lot of coastal trail running over the past few months – and the trails are stunning. We have devised a 100 km Cornwall trail run challenge – broken into 10 roughly equal sections, with convenient parking at each point.
Penwith Coastal Run

The distance of this Cornwall coastal trail run is 100.61 km (62.52 miles).

The 100 km run is divided into 10 sections, each approx 10 km (a little over 6 miles).

Each section should take no more than 70-80 minutes at a 6.2 min/km trail running pace (much with high elevation gains).

These distances are calculated with Garmin Connect‘s course planner, and work with any Garmin GPS device.

Trail 1: Praa Sands – Marazion (10.35 km)

Trail 2: Marazion to Mousehole (10.73 km)

Trail 3: Mousehole to Penberth (9.62 km)

Trail 4: Penberth – Lands End (10.32 km)

Trail 5: Lands End to Cape Cornwall (10.13 km)

Trail 6: Cape Cornwall – Morvah (10.04 km)

Trail 7: Morvah – Zennor (8.00 km)

Trail 8: Zennor – St Ives (10.49 km)

Trail 9: St Ives – Hayle (10.01 km)

Trail 10: Hayle – Godrevy Point (11.04 km)
